Royal Automobile Club
Bryan was engaged as Head of IT by the Royal Automobile Club, a prestigious private members club, to lead a two-year IT Transformation Programme. This included assessing the state of the IT systems and capability, clarifying the business strategy and then defining an IT strategy, programme and budget to achieve the club’s aspirations.
The programme included:
- Defining the IT strategy to support the Club’s ambitions for the future.
- Defining the IT transformation plan and capital and operating budgets.
- Establishing IT and project governance.
- Building and mentoring a new IT team at the Epsom administration centre.
- Defining the application and data architecture.
- Implementing a Hybrid Cloud deployment approach.
- Establishing IT and project governance.
- Implementing a new Wide Area Network.
- Upgrade of Local Area Networks in the London and Epsom clubhouses.
- New Wi-Fi infrastructure in the London and Epsom clubhouses.
- New server and storage infrastructure.
- Migration from Exchange 2003 to Office 365.
- Deployment of Microsoft Office 365 productivity suite and SharePoint.
- Replacement of 100+ desktop and notebook PC’s.
- Network and systems security and PCI DSS
- Developed a comprehensive Digital Strategy supported by PwC.
- Delivery of digital platform and mobile responsive website including phase I EPICS.
- New Point of Sale
- Upgrade of MS Dynamics GP Finance system.
- Upgrade of Concept membership, spa and activity booking system
- New Sportlabs’ Clubspark squash booking system.
